My idea of heaven is to drive the gravel countryside roads of Umbria and Tuscany leading to the Villa Della Luna, where the tabletops and meals are always colorful and vibrant! 💙🌝🧡 It’s not Umbria nor Tuscany, but my Tuscan-style home in my courtyard, where I can dream and be transported to the very place on which this marvelous pfaltzgraff1811 #VillaDellaLuna book and dinnerware collection is based on! #ad 🌿 🔶 🍃 Sharing still images of my last reel, that I crafted in collaboration with pfaltzgraff1811 adorning my table with this glorious collection of plates, bowls, and mugs. #gifted This bold and striking pattern didn’t need much to be embellished, but I knew I would marry it with this pretty floral-print vintage tablecloth I found months ago at an antique shop, that I’ve been saving for a special collection of dinnerware; the muted tones of the print offset the burgeoning colors of these plates. I didn’t need nor want to add an orchestra of flowers, I felt the plates speak prominently and beautifully for themselves, and are accompanied by my rustic garden roses with a splash of yellow desert blooms to echo the sunflower yellow accents on the plates. 🌼 I baked blueberry muffins directly inside the mugs in the microwave; perfectly baked, while the handles remain cool to the touch. I’ll post the recipe today in Stories, for a quick and yummy treat. 🫐 The centerpiece and accents was such a happy choice with these Italian hand-carved alabaster fruits I bought long ago but never used before - that are in perfect unison with the vivacious colors of this collection. Sometimes, the stars align and everything falls into perfect harmony. 🍑🥭🍋 Tuscan countryside in my garden; imagining green rolling hills, and trees melded with blue sky, yellow wildflowers, peachy-orange villas, brown-and-gray farmhouses, and this loveliest of lovely Villa Della Luna collection and #DawsonFrost flatware! Villa Della Luna set is constructed of stoneware. Each service includes: 11 inch dinner plate, 8 inch blue salad plate, 24 ounce fleur soup cereal bowl, 10 oz coffee mug. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
